Sorry it took me so long to reply....we're just back from vacationing, and I'm trying to get caught up on everything.
Yes, the gardens here are pretty extensive, but they don't photograph well in the long-shot views. There's just too many heavy pockets of shade! Shots of single plants, areas or blooms seem to be much better. For instance, here's one of the South hillside gardens. There's a veritable wall of dense-canopied trees lining the North side so the pix are always strangely lit.

Thanks, I wish I could do some more accurate pictures of the moon, but this will do it for now. Thank you for teaching me to use my photo editing program. I've only used Picassa and haven't even thought about using my camera's editing program!
