I went over and looked at the forums, I see no harm in what you did. i think it's great!
Thank you dear, Hummerchelle.
Arejay loved her Flutterbye too.
That is beautiful. Years ago I did a trade for some of my plants for a surprise box with someone, and my surprise box had a hummer very much like that one in it . It's been so long ago, I can't remember who the trade was with? Could it have been you Charleen? I still have it. It got a bit rusty because it's been hanging on my front porch all these years, but I still love it so much.

I cut them out and paint them. Love to do it and give them to friends. I've done so many. paint butterflies, fish , I like to hang them in trees for the wind to blow. have to a picture tomarrow and post it. Nothing fancy, just bright and pretty.
Well, I pulled off some of the protective covering from my December planted, bare-root roses. Guess what? They look fine!
This was a real leap of faith for me as I really had to take the supplier's word for it that they would be. I have never planted anything quite that late in the season before in my zone 5 garden.
Thanks, Angele!
I was just trying to catch up to you over at weeds place!
Had an idea for your question about a banner for each of your forums, and I wanted to run it by you.
Are you aware that you can put up to a 600 pixel wide photo in the info box of each of your forums? Would that do it, or is that not quite what you meant?
Let me know if you need help with the code. I had to use "center" to make mine look right. A lot of them I put in the wrong width and haven't redone them yet. I just removed them for now, I'll get to resizing soon.
Good morning everyone!
Yesterday I spent an enjoyable hour and a half in the GH. I finished cleaning up all the mulch and started making some room to start some seeds.
How are your garden preparations coming along?
Give us a shout when they are ready Angele. We will stampede over there and over your goodies!
I went down and got mulch for my Lasanga garden and today it is getting rained on. How wonderful! Temp. now is 50 degrees. But a beautiful rainy day in Georgia. Won't be running around outside today unless I want to get wet. Notices the mums have new life, phlox is peeking up thru mulch too. Hope my Salvia makes it, I can't tell with it yet.
Morning Charleen,
Is your Salvia of the annual or perennial variety? I have only had the annual kind so far.
What kind of mulch do you use?
We have rain today as well. Sure did enjoy those 6 days in a row of sun however! Can't beat that around here in March.

Hi ya all.
RRM your not going to believe what I heard on the news about Salvia last night.
They said it was a hallucinogen. Here in Indiana they said some are starting to use it as that. I know some things that we grow are like that but one of these days everything will be a hallucinogen and will we be able to grow just for the them being flowers?
We bought some hay and it was too bad for the critters to eat. It had been down at edge of woods, but I'm hoping there won't be many seeds in in since been there for about 2 years. I think it was the periennial, If not I will replace it with one. There is a plant called Bishop's cap tat is supposed to be very good butterfly attractor, if mine made it thru winter it will be great. Just got to wait and see. Maybe it will send new shoots up. It is still in pot. I use about 4-6 inches, enough to cover the manure I had in the flower bed. Still got to add soil. Then I'll be ready to plant.
