This is a red dust storm which blinded us one day during the Summer as the red dust blew in from the Outback ...we woke up to red everything.

Chrissy...Can you identify the following flowers you posted? I recognize a few, but some I don't and am curious.

Pic #3 ...mild winters
The white one that says "random shots"
The lavender bush under the single white bloom
And the beautiful yellow bloom that looks like fireworks

Your photography is great!...Envious of your acreage...

umm the lavender bush Rolling on the floor laughing is a a huge Jacaranda tree, about 40ft high! The big green tree beside it is an Ice Cream Bean tree that has long pods of bean like fruits full of seeds that are surrounded by a sort of fairy floss type of pulp that really does taste like ice cream. ...here is a flower *see picture below

The yellow fire works tree is an Australian native nicknamed "Gold Medal" I can't remember the botanical name off the top of my head ...I will get back to you on that one. It also is a tree,

The mild winters one is the Congo Parrot plant (Impatiens)

Sorry I didn't post the names I was in a rush *Blush*
I promise to try to be good in future

this is the Ice cream Bean Blossom Lovey dubby

Other random shots: this is a picture of the Rangoon creeper and a fragela grape vine fighting their way up the the Jacaranda tree.
The Jacaranda tree blooms in late Spring for about six weeks. The rest of the time it has lovely ferny foliage that is very attractive on it's own
