This is the very tall variety, (15 feet here) hardy through zone 5 and higher. Don't expect this to behave and be small. You can also count on it eating up some space. The best place for it is somewhere where you can mow around it. Makes a great screen year-round. We leave ours standing over the winter for contrast against the pines.
I have a lot of this. I can ship it through June.
If you have other decorative grasses to trade I'd be interested.
