I'm not sure where she got it. It is not an old rose, late 1980s by Ralph Moore

My favorite rose was one Maggi's Grandmother brought back from Alaska in 1952. Maggi got a start from a cousin in Washington state and we had it for several years. We are in heavy red clay and when I plant, I add lots of compost. After a few years it sunk and died. It was in full sun and bloomed from Spring to Fall and had a great fragrance. I never seen any Black Spot or PM, just a great rose. We are going to try to find a cousin to fix us up with another and then I will learn how to root roses and pass it around for backups.
