I’ve loved you from the moment that You stepped into my heart. And ever since that day, We’ve not been far apart. I have nothing much to offer you, Nor the moon and stars to give, To beckon your heart from where it has lain, and presently still lives. I do not ask you walk away from it, For I’d loathe it asked of me, but let me hold you one last time, before I set you free. As we lie here in the shadows, the tears begin to pour. For I shall never call myself Anyone’s but yours. So, when we speak our final words and you look into my eyes, Know that I do love you still and until the day I die. |
