Name: Huckleberry
Washington, D.C.
I "preserved" this photograph along with a stack of others. I found them at a yard sale and the previous owner sold 'em to me for a grand total of 50 cents. She said that they were her grandmother's, but her grandmother was dead a long time... and she had no clue who the people were in the pictures, where they were, or what they were doing.

It kinda broke my heart that she felt that these photographs were so useless. I saw so much when I looked at them. It as as if I was transported to a different time and place just with just one glance. To me, that has value.

What do you think?

Do you have old photos that you like, even if you don't know the people in them?
