Number of Servings: 10-12

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

16 unbaked frozen dinner rolls (16 to 18) (Rhodes brand, or similar)
1 package regular butterscotch pudding mix (3-ounce) not instant
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 stick butter (1/2 cup) melted

1. The night before place frozen rolls in well greased 12-cup Bundt pan. Sprinkle dry pudding mix over rolls. Sprinkle brown sugar over pudding mix. Sprinkle chopped pecans over brown sugar. Pour melted butter over all. To prevent the dough from forming a hard crust while its rising overnight, cover with a damp towel or tightly wrap with plastic wrap. Let rise overnight at room temperature, about 8 to 10 hours.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F .Bake in oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Turn pan over onto a serving platter to remove. Serve by pulling apart chunks with forks.

This recipe from Paula Deen is so incredibly easy, beautiful, and delicious! The first time I made it I kept thinking that the pudding, sugar, etc. should maybe go in first, so they would end up on top when the cake was turned out onto a plate -- but no need to worry, it ends up exactly like "regular" sticky buns! Halve the recipe by using a loaf pan (but you'll probably wish you had made the whole thing). Don't want to put it together just before you go to bed? Go ahead and assemble it, then cover with plastic wrap and pop back into the freezer; set out on the counter when you go to bed and have a quick-to-prepare treat the next morning.
