Chile con Queso Ingredients 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cut into chunks 1/2 c milk 1 TBSP butter 2 TBSP poblano pepper (or other mild green pepper) seeded and diced 2 TBSP jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced (Use more if you want hotter queso!) 2 TBSP onion, diced 2 TBSP red bell pepper, seeded and diced Instructions Mix Velveeta with milk and microwave until melted, stirring occasionally. Saute remaining ingredients in butter over low heat until tender. Stir pepper mixture into cheese. Serve with tortilla chips. Source: adapted from recipe by Abuelo's |
