|i have alot of breakfast recipes. here is another one that is a family favorite
3 large potatoes peeled and cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
1 pound of bacon
1 lb breakfast sausage
6 slices of boiled ham
in a large cast iron fry pan (or a pan that can go frm the stoveto the oven) cook the ham first until they are just about done but not crisp. try to keep the slices in one piece.
remove and set aside. now cook the bacon and sausage together until browned and cooked through.
clean out the fry pan and place on the counter. add some oil to the pan. now add the potatoes in the pan. use the rim of a glass to make round cuts in the potatoes and then lift that secton of potatoes and set aside in another dish. repeat this until you have 6 empty spaces in the potatoes.
take the ham and cut them into rounds that will fit in the space where you removed the potatoes.
now take the bacon and cut them in 3 inch lengths and place them around the empty space so that you have them framed. do the same with the sausage
add the potatoes that you have in the dish anywhere in the pan and do the same with the leftover ham, bacon and sausage.
not put the pan on the stove over med high heat. when the potatoes begin to sizzle break one egg onto each of the pieces of the framed ham.
once the egg begin to set take the pan and place in the broiler. when the eggs look done remove and you're ready to eat.
this sounds hard but it really isn't.
you have a whole complete meal in one pan. add some nice hot bread and butter and enjoy.
