Easy Pickled Beets
Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp mixed pickling spice
1 c apple cider vinegar
1 c sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 cans (16 oz each) sliced beets

Ingredients
Place pickling spices in spice ball or tie up in piece of clean cloth.
In large nonreactive pan, bring to boil vinegar, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and spice bag.
Drain beets, reserving 1/2 cup juice, and stir beets and juice into vinegar mixture.
Place in glass container, and cover and refrigerate overnight.
Remove spice bag before serving.
8 servings
