|Pull-Apart Bacon Bread
1 lb bacon, fried and crumbled, or 3/4 c real bacon bits
1 TBSP vegetable or olive oil
3/4 c chopped red and green peppers
3/4 c onion, chopped
1 tsp dried dillweed, crumbled
or 1 tsp dried oregano, crumbled
3 tubes (7 1/2 oz each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1/2 c butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c cheddar cheese, shredded (or cheese of your choice)
Saute peppers and onion in oil over low heat until tender.
Cut biscuits into quarters and place in large mixing bowl.
Add pepper mixture, bacon, butter, and cheese, tossing until well combined.
Pour into large bundt or tube pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 min or until lightly browned.
