Central TX 7b/8a

2 c flour
1/4 c sugar
1/2 stick of butter or margarine, melted
1 egg, well-beaten
1 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
5 tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix and put batter into greased muffin pans. Bake for 25 minutes. Yield: 12 muffins (5 tsp baking powder is not a misprint!)
