June, I am so new to this cubits thing. I am sorry for not responding. I learned to meditate back in the early late 60s
and it got me through a bad marriage. Later I had congestive heart failure. I used meditation, prayer, visualization, affirmations, and self-hypnosis. Forty days with my nightly practice of all these, I had a new doctor who gave me
a detailed stress test (injection of dye, etc.) When he came to give me the results, he said, "There's nothing wrong
with your heart! You could live to a hundred on that heart!!" I use all of those things periodically, but mostly meditation.

I try to meditate 20 minutes once or twice a day, and it just rejuvenates me and makes me happy and serene. I have
always done it alone. Some times I have low Baroque music on; most times I do it in silence. I belonged to a group where we frequently presented guided meditations as part of our presentations.

Now I am also studying self hypnosis. My next tape which i will record soon will be , "Neat and Tidy." Hypnosis is safe and effective. I have a whole list of topics I want to make tapes for.

AreJ, maybe this answered you question too??

Also, I find Emotional Freedom Technique very interesting. There are demonstrations on YouTube of it. It looks and sounds so crazy and weird, but it is based on the Cahra's. Apparently it works. I need to do more of that too.

There is so much we can do to help ourselves. These things need not replace doctors and medicines, but they can
enhance healing and well being.

self improvement through the mind

It is obvious that our thinking, our bodies, and our health are often a reflection of our minds. Let's talk.
