|Hi there! Am I really the first one here? I want to thank you Sharon for this new chat thread. It is late morning here in Iceland, 10:15 hrs. The summer is just starting here, May has been rather cold and dry so plants are late to wake up. We are slowly settling in our new apartment, just a few cardboard boxes left, except the storage room in the basenent is full of them. A few paintings have been hung on the walls (I am still dividing pictures and things between my children). We have organized our work room/study and all my sewing things have found a place in there. I think the room is too packed and I think there are too many computers in there and one or two have to go. We are also going to build a large floor to ceiling book case on the wall in the hall outside rhe room.
In the afternoon I am going to my old garden to tidy up. There are just a few plants left that I am going to take, a Bonica rose and a large fern among them. I may have told you that the new owner is not interested in gardening so I added to the contract that I could take all the plants I want before the end of May. So today I am finishing up there and saying goodbye to my old garden.
