I got this recipe from one of my Curve's instructors. OMG these are awesome. Judy's Blackout Brownies Makes 16 squares 155 calories Bake 350 20-22 mins. Spray 8x8 pan with non-stick spray Place in blender(or food processor) 1 15 oz. can black beans, dranied 2 extra large eggs (less one yolk) or 1/2 whites 1/2 cup honey syrup (recipe follows bottom of page) or Agave syrup Blend until smooth. Pour into medium bowl. Wisk together: 1/4 cup cocoa 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour 1/2 salt Fold into bean mixture, just until all dry spots are gone. Add: 6 tablespoon chocolate mini chips Pour into prepared pan . Bake 20 - 22 min. Do not overbake. Let cool 1 hour. Frost with. 6 oz. fat free cream cheese whipped together with 1/4 cup honey syrup (Use electric mixer) Then melt 2 Tblsp. chocolate in mico with few spray of Pam(or 1/4 tsp. salad oil) Drizzle over frosting Honey Syrup: Dissolve 1/2 cup sugar in 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup Honey. Use leftover syrup to sweeten tea or anything else (I keep it in a squirt bottle) |

Nita... didn't you once said that you enjoy black beans? This will be great to use black beans in dessert! The Chinese and Indonesians have been using beans in desserts too. Will have to look for these old recipes. BTW.. you look good Nita! |

Thanks Jaye! Made the Brownies this morning without the cream cheese deal. They are really good. Will make them in a smaller pan next time so they are a bit thicker and I added some vanilla as well. Otherwise these are a good treat. Not going to tell DH what is in them. Some things are better left unsaid. ![]() |

Yea, I did not know what was in them when I sampled them. Saw them, ate one, then saw recipe. |
