http://cubits.org/sisistahs/thread/view/19452/ Ooh.. we're on that lucky number 13! Since I'm up, thought I start a new page as it will be easier for the likes of me with slow dial up to load up. |

Rise and shine sleepy heads!!! ![]() ![]() Coffee is ready. How about some good old fashion breakfast? A bowl of Cheerios and milk for those that crave sugar. And those that need protein.. some ham and scrambled eggs. Now that I've laid breakfast on the table.. I'm going back to bed!!! |
I'm up. Been awake sine 3:15 ugh! |

I already told my granddaughter "don't make me come down there" LOL but I do believe she has enough fire in her eyes that come Monday the school will very much be ready to comply with making the playground a safer place. Given the curiosity of little boys, my great grandson is 7, I find it hard to believe that this is the first incident involving that storm drain cover. Still trying to stay calm but the poor guy is in considerable pain today. |

Can't believe I didn't leave breadcrumbs behind! Stacey, don't get adventurous and try dancing in the rain! And stay out of bad weather please. As soon as I finished posting on Sweet Prayers and Petitions, the power went off. The whole town was affected. We're on the same power grid as the new prison, and supposedly, ours returned way earlier than the town. We lost power for about an hour. Don't care for those tornadoes, Maid M. Hope this year, we're spared from them. Karen, I hope the rest of the mothers admonish the school that they give safety a priority, even on the playgrounds. Audrey, did you get your sewing machine? Hope you get some rest today, Cindy. |

![]() ![]() Karen, keep us posted on how your GGS finger is doing--I can only imagine a 7 year old with his finger sore and all the pain. Not good! I wish this weather would pass so I can make some sort of plans for the rest of the weekend. Right now it is beginning to look like an indoor event both days. ![]() Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional! My Mom |

Morning everyone! Thanks for the breadcrumbs Jaye, and the breakfast! Karen, sorry to hear about your GS hand! No rain here today, just lots of wind, but nice and cool! 67 degrees. |
I could send you to your corner Maid M.. but Annmarie didn't want to come out of there, and with you there. it will only prolong her party!!! Well, you live in the deep South, and I'll take the rains then a hurricane warning! That don't dance in the rain advice... goes for you too M. Kel's plans for the day MAY involve cleaning the yard! Now that's a miracle if he chose to stay home on Saturdays!! I don't mind a whole weekend staying home. |
Karen, sure hope the little guy will be OK, and how are you feeling?? Marion, good day to sew...give your back a rest from all that yard work you have been doing... |
CRS moment there.. yes Karen.. are you over your pneumonia? Don't get yourself overheated please. Thunder that's a good suggestion for our dear MaidM! Oh well, no sooner had I posted the above, Kel calls and says it's supposed to rain and we'll just HAVE to do some shopping. Think I'll print that Michael's coupon!! Don't I know my man!! ![]() |
Have fun Jaye ![]() |
Thank you Thunder & Jaye, I'm feeling much better, nearly recovered actually. Payton is doing well today too. His mom says he's not complaining of pain as yet. He's soooo boy she said at the hospital he was more fascinated at seeing the inside of his finger than worrying about the stitches. |

Jaye, I got my old one back from the shop, but he didn't touch it. I can't buy another one till June. 55th class reunion is taking all my money! The one I want is just ynder $200.00. |

Well plans changed here also. I needed to take some light fixtures to my sister's house in Cairo and my son, et al. decided to go with me. We took the back roads and just did a leisurely drive looking at the wildflowers and old houses. Checked out things for my sister then returned home another way again ending up at Tallahassee Nurseries. I purchased a Nikko Blue Hydrangea and Charles got a yellow native azalea for his place. So I enjoyed a slow, laid back day with my granddaughters and it was fun!!! Did feel guilty I wasn't accomplishing something at home but it only lasted about 15 seco ![]() ![]() Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional! My Mom |

Nothing like family time! |

He's a brave little man, Karen. Bet he can't wait to tell his friends what the doctors did to him. Audrey, the prices of good sewing machines have come down. I'm sure you'd find one for under $200. Have fun at the reunion. How's Lisa doing btw? Nothing like a leisurely drive through the back roads, especially when it led you to Nikko Blue!!! Glad Charles spent some time with you. 15 seconds? That must be some time warp!!! ![]() I have Nikko too, and the neighbour that dug the holes for us 2 years ago, placed some rusted nails in the ground saying it will intensify the color. So far.. to me it's the same! Well LK, I did take my usual insulin dose, as Kel changed his mind and decided to gorge on Thai food! All those curries, rice and fried stuffs will just spike my sugar!! With Mexican, I can limit to a side salad plus meat. Thankfully, I always pack my shots with me wherever I go. Did some damage at a quilting store. Picked up some necessities. Aren't all fabrics necessities? At Michael's, we didn't spend much but was surprised to get a 40% off coupon for one item, at check out. Will use that next week. Been eyeing a craft organizer that's around 89. Thank God I didn't get it then. So, next week, another legitimate excuse for Kel to stay away from the yard!!! ![]() After Michael's it was off to a bookstore than off to check on some hardware. Did some quick glances through the plant aisles. Can't do any buying as I promise him that I'll buy some hardscapes instead!! (Didn't promise that I won't buy online!) LK, please dmail my frog buddy that the post office has left her a note for her to pick up her box. It's been there since the 21st! Hope you have a beautiful Sunday drive with your dad if you decide. Church tomorrow. So you all know I won't be around. Leaving the building now, but leaving behind ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Have a blessed Sunday everyone! May the Lord showers all of you with EXTRA blessings! |

Been busy but wanted to check in and make sure all are safe with weather reports we have been hearing about. Our weather has been unpredictable...sun one minute...clouds and pouring rain the next. Had Sage overnight. We had fun, she made clay things while I made Jammies, a bed spread and pillow for her Barbie Doll....now we need to make a bed. Today she helped me purchase the flowers and make the alter arrangement for Church. She loves to help with the flowers. After that we picked up Laura and went shopping for an online game Sage wanted to get with her birthday money so she can go online and play with her Uncle Jeff...he is so good with kids and he is one of Sage's favorite people. Shrimp and Snowpea Udon Soup for dinner....I'm stuffed and tired. Hope everyone has a good day...with no bad weather tomorrow. It is never too late to be What you might have been. ~George Eliot |
