Yolie's Chicken Pie 1 lb. chicken tenders 1 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/2 tsp. each: salt, pepper 2 tbsp. margarine 1 large onion and bell pepper, chopped 3 celery stalks, chopped 1 cup carrots, slivered 1 cup green beans 1/2 cup low sodium chicken gravy 1/2 cup low fat sour cream 2 tbsp. plain flour 2 - 9" pie crusts Heat oven 425* Season tenders with salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Melt margarine, cook till slightly pink in center for 5 mins. Cool and chop into bite size pieces. Saute' onions, celery, carrots and bell pepper in 1 tbs. margarine for 5 mins. till tender. Stir in beans and chicken. In medium bowl, mix gravy, sour cream and flour. Stir into chicken mixture and scrape into pie crust. Top with crust, slit and bake for 25-30 mins. till top is golden brown. Let sit for 5 mins. before serving. |
