| Please continue to uplift my FIL in prayers, SI prayer warriors. He has been going through bouts of depression. There are two guys that have the same chemo schedule with him and they have both passed on, one week of each other. He told Kel and MIL yesterday that there's no point in continuing with the treatments as he knows he will soon die. He is already passed the 90% mark of being cured. We told him that Our Lord doesn't want him to give up and dwell in negativity. |

You got it Sis! It must be so hard going through this, I know the Lord will heal him.  Will continue our prayers for him. |

| Thank you Sis. His depression comes right after Easter. We think it's because of his eldest son not showing one iota of concern. I can lose my breath quoting scriptures on him, as he's a deacon and knows the Good Book well. But I cannot move his son to be more considerate, only He can do it. Kel is taking this so badly as the oldest has always been Murdock's favorite son. |

| Then I think I would write a letter to the son, and let him know what he is doing. Maybe if he can see his son, he would come out of the depression? MAybe even a phone call might cheer him? |

| This has been an ongoing battle since his dad had that stroke.. and worse after cancer. MIL is p'o'ed and Kel said that it's futile to try to reach him. His brother already made the remark that should anyone die in the family, don't call him.. he won't bother to come to the funeral. Now how callous is that? |

| Kel just called. He is with his father for the treatment. Said that Murdock had another episode and they had to give him oxygen. Kel will convince his mother to call on his brother and tell him that his actions are affecting Murdock. |

| Update... no sooner than we all here pray for the family and especially his brother to shed some of that 'callousness'.. well.. YES!! Thank you Jesus!! His brother showed up this afternoon and will stay overnight with their parents. No one called him and it's Our Lord that must have whispered into his ears and revved up his guilt! I know Murdock's spirits will be buoyed from this visit. Thank you sistahs. |

| Well hello Jeri!! Good to see you!! Kel's brother's visit was truly God led!!! He had totally forgotten that it's Murdock's b'day today. Murdock doesn't care, as long as he gets to see him again. Well, our Lord certainly decides when our expiration date will be. Murdock was given less than 6 months to live by the doctors, and he's passed the year mark and will be celebrating his 69th birthday today. PTL, who is using Murdock as a testimony!! Thank you sistahs for your support and especially prayers. |
