ok - question for any recipe hounds.... I'm making a homemade salad dressing if I don't have any sour cream, what would be a good substitute? I have seveal salad dressings, and cottage cheese. The salad dressings I have are: cole slaw; cucumber; blue cheese; and mayonnaise. Suggestions? it's for my onion, radish, lettuce and apple salad. |

Yogurt? Drain it first! |

I used yogurt then. Now, I've gotten sour cream (need for perogies, anyway!) and made the salad and dressing again tonight. It's really better with the sour cream, and I have enough to make the salad again tomorrow! We're eating a lot more salads - so much better for us, and more economical! ![]() ![]() |
