We're privileged that Kathy Kiz chose that as her pattern, Charleen.
What's new with you. We know you're not the sort to sit still for longer than 5 minutes!

Hey Sis. Synda said I might have pneumonia. Told her not to worry as I had the flu shot, may still catch a cold, but won't develop into pneumonia.
Found out I can't take Mucinex. It elevated my blood sugar too high!!

oooh on the Musinex, Jaye - too bad you can't take it. It's always surprising to me how many products have sugar in them. For instance - ketchup!
btw - watched Dr. Oz yesterday, and he recommends Stevia as a sweetner, and for soda pop - do 50/50 with pop & seltzer water - still has that "sweet" kick. Apparently, if you have any foods with less sugar, your brain doesn't recognize there's enough, and you end up eating more of the product (cookies for instance - 5 instead of 1) to get that "sugar rush". I always Knew that I didn't like sugar substitutes!!

The strange thing is, Susan, sugar isn't listed on Mucinex.
I've been eating less, and sometimes hardly. Always pricked my finger and since I took Mucinex, it stayed around 300. Thought it was my meter, till I replaced it.
I knew it's Mucinex cos last night, my sugar spiked to 535. All I had was 2 cups of sugar free jello.
Had to take 70 units of Humalog and 30 units of Lantus to bring it down to 140.
Last spring I grew some Stevia. Had been chewing the leaves for that sugar taste.
Kel mowed it down thinking it's weed!
I've learnt to be wary of even diet drinks.
morning, everyone! Susan, the quilting on that block is from the magazine picture I posted originally at the beginning of the project, when we were choosing our block pattern. I did make a window hanging for my niece with a Blue Star on the reverse side, which I posted somewhere, but my quilting wasn't that fancy. I did use the idea from the book and stitched connecting stars, but not as nice as the quilter in the magazine...

Would that we could All quilt that way, eh, Kathy?
I know I promised to send my blocks out, but have not been to the post office. I have to find a box the right size to send it.......
Please forgive my lateness in sending.......
