If the CIA want to retrieve secrets from me, all they got to do is put me in a P room No worries Marion. I'll tell Kel, no chance of your famous lemon pound cake  How is your mother by the way, and will you be seeing her anytime soon? Going to be inconveniently driving around in a box truck this week, as Kel's truck broke down. My truck is still hosting mushrooms the whole year!! At least we do have wheels. | Mornin. How is the weather Jaye? We had really high winds all day yesterday but so far it appears very calm but cool this morning....45! I will be going down some time around the 7/8th of November; Sue wants to "attempt" to take her home for a day the weekend of the 10th. I have very mixed emotions about this as I am not really sure she can stand the hour ride to the house and another hour back to the facility. I also have this dreaded feeling she might think she is going home to stay. I will return home about the 17th as I want to be here for Kim's 50th birthday.....refuse not to be here and do something special!! Humm, wonder if the Lemon pound cake ships very well.......need to think about that. Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional! My Mom |

Marion - I can understand and appreciate your trepidation about the hour drive each way for your mom, and of course the idea that she may think it's a permanent return to Sue's. Don't these facilities tell families that they should keep patients in the facilities until they are assured there is not to be a return home?  Not sure what the recommended time frame is, but I know that facilities up here make recommendations regarding home visits......  |

| Wow.. didn't realize it's been that long, Marion. Still each day goes by without you taking your mum for granted. When is Kim's birthday? Yep, 50 comes just once! Charleen, you know I can't let you drop out!! You're the queen of clay, right sistahs? No high winds nor heavy rains. Just a lil drizzle but cool. Thank God we're safe. This is what happened this morning at the bank. We had to cancel the debit card, and sign some papers to file an official complaint against Apple. The bank couldn't believe that the site that we were directed to was a sham to non Itune users. But one bank vice presidernt who is an Apple customer, managed to log on to her acct. and get hold of a customer support officer!! Via phone, she told him what happened and we were supposed to be refunded in 5 days' time!! The bank will still send in the official letter, in case they renege on their promise. With the bank, refund will take 10 days, as they have to send off the dispute claim. Malarkey!!! That's what you get with small town banks. The Apple agent knew who ripped us off, as they have the email addy and other pertinent info, but won't tell Kel. Invasion of privacy he says!! How about our privacy!! Anyway... read this.. they won't persecute the offender as the amt. is "too small"!! It's still money that's stolen!!! Again, we're adviced by the bank to use Paypal for online purchases if offered, or money orders. |

Jaye - I guess that's what the hacker is betting on - too small an amount to be a chargeable offence as per the big companies. Do it enough though, and the amount adds up in THEIR bank account.....  |
