I haven't been posting as much as before, but I've been in and out of all my web sites. If Darwin catches any fish he cleans them, I want nothing to do with them. He does a very good job too. If he wouldn't clean them they would become fertilizer immediately. He hasn't caught fish in such a long time I wonder if he remembers how to clean them ![]() If I want snow we could go to the mountains, but that is way down on the bottom of my list. I can't believe my Eternity brug is going to have more blooms. That wonderful rain water really gets them going. My plumeria plants haven't lost all their leaves either; something they do during the winter months. I was a little late in planting my sweet peas, but I do hope they pop up soon. I do need some nice flowers in the spring. Life is fragile, handle with prayer. |

Look what I have blooming in the spare bedroom! I brought in my plants a few weeks ago, most of them I cut down, but a few had tiny buds so I left them. The one in front opened dark pink and stayed that way, the one in back opened yellow, then turned pink. ![]() ![]() |

Lovely Linda! We only ended up with 4 1/2 inches of snow. Southern Indiana had 3 or more inches then we did. It's much better now. Roads are still a little slick but not nearly as much as befroe. Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. |

LK - yummy looking blooms! ![]() Pegi - nice when you can choose snow or sun, like you can in CA!! You're like us, only south - mountains in the background, with foothills that you're IN. I'd love to see pics of the scenery you have in your own backyard. Must be sorta like this? ![]() |

Morning sistahs! That's a beautiful scene Susan, perfect for a postcard or framed. Anita, you must be relieved not getting too much snow. One year, we took a trip to Crown Point, and boy, I wasn't expecting more than 6" of snow. Not used to loud snow plowers in the morning, and later, the road crew de-icing the roads. We had some snow left on the roof of our truck all the way back to Louisiana!! When my gf moved to Merrillville, again, I visited her in the winter. Next time it will be in the summer!! Had enough of snow!! Karen, of course Ryan won't want to sleep elsewhere! The beanbag practically "hugs" his body! Did an awesome job grandma! Beautiful blooms LK. Lucky you. That room must smell so good in the evenings. I love dark pink brugs. Pegi, don't you worry. Cleaning a fish is like riding a bike. Darwin won't forget! Marion, tell us how's the movie. It got so many good reviews, I'm surprise that Ann Hathaway could sing. It's warm this morning, not expecting rains. That's a good thing. But supposed to be cool later. Ham cooking in the oven, got some fresh turnips to go with it. |

Jaye - you're right - it could be a picture postcard..... hmmm maybe I'll send some pictures to my family for "just because" ![]() ![]() |
Susan, I occasionally print random pictures and write a quick little note and send to my Momma. she loves to get snail mail. ![]() ![]() |
My mom does too - she doesn't have a computer after all ![]() |
Jaye, I am so relieved. I don't mind the snow if I don't have to drive in it. We have too many silly drivers on the road. LoL We were looking at the tire marks in the snow. People were sliding around corners, ended up in yards, doing donuts in the front yards, taking out mailboxes...ugh. Susan, the picture is amazing! Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. |

yup, that picture is from our new "favourite camping spot" ![]() It's in Kananaskis / Peter Lougheed Provincial Park - about 2 1/2 hours drive for us. ![]() |
Jaye, let's put it this way: "who wants to go see Les Miz with me?" ![]() ![]() ![]() Slow day here today. Thought we might go to moms this morning but my leg and hip were bothering me so we decided to give it a day of me doing mostly nothing. Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional! My Mom |

Anita, I was pestering my ex to get snow tires all the while when we're in Indiana! He said he's a good driver, and being our truck was a 4 wheel drive, he sure was right. Well Marion, you know your stuff!! ![]() I've never seen the original show.. so did a little search.. Colm is amazing!! Now that I have high speed, I can catch up on culture!! ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrPCWfB-Jdo |
woo hoo........... Jaye gots Culture! (actually, likely had more culture in Singapore than North America, but now can VIEW the culture with High Speed!!) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Pshaw!! Susan ![]() ![]() Morning sistahs. Back to winds and rains and slush and muck for me! Hope you all have a good Saturday! ![]() |
How can you say "up to date" and "Victor Hugo's classic" in the same breath/type Jaye? ![]() I was thinking about operas and ballet.......... |
Easy.. culture upgrade.. sistah!! ![]() ![]() Last time I saw a ballet stage production was in Singapore too. The Bolshoi, performing Swan Lake. I'm very limited to anything 'culture' living here, in the boondocks. With high speed internet, I can now reconnect with what I've been missing. |
I figured Singapore was culturally diverse and accessible. ![]() |
Accessible is the key word, Susan.. add easily and physically to it! Tickets were also very reasonable as the govt. heavily subsidised classical performances. Morning sistahs!! Don't know what my plans are for today, as Kel's been called to work this morning for 8 hours. So, that means his honey-do list will remain on file!! But I do know that I have to medicate some cats.. wish me luck!! Charleen, I dreamt that I visited you and you were showing off all your furbabies. It was truly strange as there are only cats!!! Your DH was in the dream, trying to teach me how to pot plants!! And I left the house wearing some strangers' sandals!! |
What's wrong with the kitties Jaye? Hope they are not too sick? Now what meds did you take to have dreams like that Jaye? Nothing wrong with visiting Charleen, but leaving with someone else's sandal's? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Had to give antibiotics as some had respiratory infection. Instead of handling them individually, I just mixed it up with their wet food. You should see these fussy kitties sniffing and turning their food away.. but later came back cause their tummies were hungry! ![]() How is Luna doing? Hope she listens well. |
