Happy New Year sistahs!  Prosperity for all with to follow us! Throw in the gaiety and laughter for good measure, and Lord, grant Thunder plenty of leisure time tp sew...  Oh yes.. good health all around too. Who's cooking??? We will be having New Year dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. I really want to eat an all vege meal today, got to start healthy eating. Chinese restaurant offer more veges than others. Wonder why Mexican restaurants don't have veges on their menu, besides the spinach quesadillas? Except when it's (cabbages and radishes) in Posole, and that's offered only on Christmas. Weather's co-operating too. Just a light sprinkle, and expecting a nice 60 throughout the day. Have a good 1st day of 2013 sistahs!  |

| We are 30 degrees here and will not be going out...too darn cold...wet and cold! Not sure what we are having for dinner, yet, but whatever Marti fixes you got to know it will be delicious. Watching the Rose Parade with their 60 degree weather and envying them their warmth. | Happy New Year to all, with Joy, Peace, Prosperity, and Love for our Creator! Ham/Scalloped Potatoes/green beans/Pudding with Rum Sauce....... yummmmmm Two friends coming over for dinner. Nice quiet one with the four of us. I like that! Bob's doing the ham (real simple - pre-cooked and just needs peach glaze and heating). I'll do the scalloped potatoes. Pudding is done, just need to steam and make the sauce. Easy peasy! |

| Easier Peasier here...we're cleaning out the fridge before we head down to TN for a bit of house hunting. Plus I'm really in need of hugs and kisses from the grands and greats down there. |

| Todd and I just got back from Applebee's for lunch, for our Anniversary. 14 years today! I had the orange chicken, I love the rice and veggies that come with it, a bowl of onion soup. Now it is time for a nap, as I seem to be having a relapse from this darn cold. Seems I over did it staying up last night, and got chilled!  So I am off to take more meds, I will be back online later. |

| Pudding with rum sauce! I want some, Susan! Never tried peach glazing. My favorite is pineapple. Happy anniversary LK and Todd. May you celebrate many many more. Don't be too overeager to return to regular stuffs. At our age, we need all the rest and extra when down with a cold. Yup, good luck with your house hunting, Karen. It's a buyer's market still, I'm sure. Which part of Tn, would you be moving to? Dorothy, it's been comfy here. Not expecting the temps to drop any lower than 60 the next few days. I must thank God for the rains.. rather that than snow There were only 3 couples at the restaurant, so we got very attentive service  Got my veges, zucchinis, mushrooms, green beans and cabbage on two plates!! For meat, it's catfish.. Kel had two plates too, but all meat protein. His vege is a single pea in his fried rice  |

| A Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year to all my sistahs. It was a cool day, but at least no rain for the Rose Parade. Must have been heavenly among all those wonderful smells from thousands of flowers. Susan, from my back yard all I see is other houses, we are just too close together. But I can see mountains full of snow. The mountain towns are full of snow and I'm sure that makes skiers very happy. So glad to hear Luna is doing better. On Christmas Eve a young girl found a puppy in the trash. She couldn't keep it because they live in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so they took it to the pound. They named her Eve and had her on TV in the cutest red sweater. So many people want to adopt her What an adorable puppy, just 5 weeks old now. My Mandy will be due to visit the vet soon to be spayed and have that hernia taken care of. You would never know she had anything wrong as she is so active, never sits still. She does real good at times with her potty training. I get mad at her when she stays outside for the longest time then comes in and pees on the floor. I'm beginning to think she is untrainable. She is a shredder too, hope she grows out of that. She is about 5 months old now. Life is fragile, handle with prayer. |

| Pegi - that's all I see too. Even though we're on top of a hill, so are the other mobile homes We can't even see the sunrise or sunset.......... BUT when we're away from the mobile park, we get to see a beautiful vista of mountains. And, from the back of our place we can see the Deerfoot Trail (main highway) with all the lights of the traffic, in the dark of the night to the north, and it's quite pretty..... "Million dollar view" I think! |
