We got the tail end of it and a bit of a cold front is moving in now. A good rain and a lot of wind.
When I am in a mood to chew cotton, spit nails and sling mud, I go find music from my teen/young adult years, put it on the stereo and dare anyone to complain when I crank the volume up and dance......a couple songs, some times a couple dozen songs, and I feel much better. If I need to get away from my dear family, I grab the Mp3 and headphones and either get out in the garden or take a short walk.......kept me from calling a bail bondsman more than once

egg whites, helps stop bleeding in furries, and people too!! crack an egg, stick your finger in it, and dab on bleeding spot. sometimes takes a few times if it is bleeding a lot.
Asking for prayers for Dylan please. They took him to the ER yesterday, as he has a tummy bug, so they thought, come to find out he has what the are calling c-diff.
It can be a serious problem if not taken care of. They spent the night in the little cubicle in the ER, and will do so again tonight. They can't put them in a regular room and take chances to infect the other kids, so they have to stay secluded in the ER cubicle. No one is getting much sleep. Egg white is good for blackheads too Thunder. I used to pat a layer on my face, let it dry then peel it off. I can see the blackheads stuck to the mask.
Jean, to somewhat calm the beast in me.. I'd be listening to the blues, or a good Joe Satriani to drown everything out!!

oh, when I really, really, really need to get myself "UP" I listen to Roger Whitaker's "Ye Le" (think that's how it's spelt.......), and I get to free spirit DANCING and then I listen to his song "Sail Away" and I'm "over the top". Nothing can ruin my mood then.....
Dang, I just searched all over and can't find Yi Lei on the computer. I know I have it in my collection but they are packed away. So much of my stuff has been packed away for almost 2 years.
Dylan is not feeling well this morning, he is refusing to take his bottle, so they have placed the IV in his little arm for nourishment and meds. They are waiting on the Dr. to come in and do more lab work, to determine if he stays or goes home.

That is one nasty thing to have to deal with! It runs rampant in some of the nursing homes in south Florida sad to say. If only the CNAs would take their jobs seriously and to the procedures required when going from room to room it would help a lots. There have been about 5 deaths on the wing where my mom is from C Diff. She had ESBL which is a newer super bug.

Poor little fellow, read about that bug and scared the heck out of me. Pray that the doctor's get rid of it soon. Prayers for mom, dad and grandparents as they have to suffer through it too.
Already in the 70's, I think it is time to get outside with my mp3 player. A couple years a friend gave me one and I discovered how great it was to listen to my "oldieis" while playing in the yard. When that one died on me I had to invest in another to get me moving around.
A place for those sweet interruptions, just to chat, share your day or for some support. Come on in and sit for a spell.
