| The link didn't work because you added what you thought was missing ).asp even an accidental period or comma added to a link will prevent it from connecting and there is usually a lot there that we just don't see What I don't know is why books are written. |

I watched "Funny Girl" last night - has been a long time since I saw it, followed by "The Way We Were" but only got about 20 min of it before Bob "called" me on a movie we were going to watch together....... "Machine Gun Preacher" - very good, very intense, and graphic!  I've lent it to our pastor - we were going to have it for Movie Night one month, but he said "no" and I can see why!! It's MUCH too graphic, although he said he thought he'd like to see it. It cost $5, so we bought it and watched it. As I said "very intense"........ true story. I will have to watch "The Way We Were" another time.........  |

| Morning sistahs.. thought I'd visited here yesterday?? Duhh.. I checked on my mails and forgot to make the trip here. Sorrrreeee.. Susan, Machine Gun Preacher is a true story. I don't think I'll borrow that if you said it's too graphic. I've added Faith Like Potatoes to the Netflix list.. I like feel good movies. For the first time in years, we followed the Oscars last night. Wasn't disappointed as there were singers that I love performed. Dame Shirley Bassey was outstanding!! Then Jennifer Hudson of course blew the roof. Adele..  that girl is another legend. And Babra.. the Babs.. .. wonderful tribute to Marvin Hamlisch. Noted the movies I'd love to see, especially "Beasts of the Southern Wild" with a southern Louisiana setting. Ok.. got to take Lola to the vet to get her nails clipped. Big Daddy has donated his blood too many times when he tried to do it.  |

| Jaye - yes, I know it's a true story. At the end, they showed a picture of Sam Childers and described his on-going work in Sudan and Uganda. It's SUCH a powerful movie and, although I don't like graphic movies (usually leave the room at these times), it was very well done, and true to life. I would highly recommend it to anyone (as long as they're not kids, etc......)  |

i so want to see that movie Beast of the southern wild. movies like that don't come around here in my parts  got a awesome sale on my fav chicken at the grocery today is american BBQ tomorrow is korean BBq yes ts from a jar but will add pineapple and slooooow cooook it n the crock . should turn out good ? Life without garlic , just plain stinks ! |

| We had 60+ MPH winds here all day. No damage here, but in San Antonio, they are showing roof damage on the news. We're all worried about the budget not passing in the whitehouse, if it is not passed, all the guys that work on the base, will be forced to a 4 day work week, and that is going to hurt everyone. We also heard, that the budget cuts will affect all the meals on wheels programs as they are federally funded with grants. What are all those home bound seniors going to do for food? |
