My Momma loves to knit. I have three or four scarves she made, I hardly ever wear them. but I enjoy seeing them. Teddy bears like them and Malena plays with them when she visits.
My Momma made one of these for a girl at work last time she was here visiting. It was OCT. Pink for breast cancer, which Momma had, and so did the girl from my work. Sharon, she then bought a beautiful ribbon pin for my Momma.

I thought it was a feather boa when Norma brought them out for me to see - she had about 4 others. One was deep pink (variegated with other colours), and blue, etc.
Norma also said that there is another kind of wool that looks similar but it's not - don't think it stretches quite the same way. It's the more expensive of the two.

I can do only basic knit stitch, and only if some one starts it for me....then I can not end it either.....do a little better with crochet.. butttttt I prefer to stick with quilting, and dabble in bead work here and there

Good news!! Kel did plant my two maple trees this evening! Followed instructions and no fuss nor cuss. I held the flashlight. Of course, being he's a good boy, I treated him to Wendy's. Anything for a peaceful marriage.. plus I didn't have to cook!
Very nice Sue. I would leave the St Patrick's Day things up with the Easter ones. It will fill her garden nicely. It is nice to be able to remember Jess in this way....
Guess I jinxed us today. Just got my sewing room all packed for our move and our buyer called and backed out of the deal. Trying to get back as much money as we can. Ordered a new bed, kitchen stove, and washer and dryer. Hired a moving company and been giving stuff away.
I always say if it's meant to be it will be. But this is sure devastating.
