Everyone has such beautiful birds; no pretty birds here, but I do enjoy the humming birds coming to eat out of my feeder. I can look out my kitchen window and watch them. Maybe I should be a country girl nstead of a city one.
Love my hummers in the summer Pegi, you are so lucky to get them year around. Plus I know you have more varieties out there, We only have the Ruby Throat, which is beautiful and fun to watch, but I would love to see other kinds.
For some reasons I have only seen two of my hummers coming around, sure hope more show up. Some day I hope I can have my camera ready when they come to feed. Don't know what happened to our winter. It is supposed to get in the low 80's today, hard to understand this strange weather. I was outside trying to clean up pine needles and leaves when I had to quit because I got too warm. Water is so scarce here that I don't know how much of a garden I can try to have. Lakes are drying up, really sad.
