Qwilter said to be careful of the batting! Most, including Warn N Natural, have a poly film on them. That will melt in the microwave. She suggested a couple layers or more of flannel instead..... Warm N Natural would be great for ice cream holders though...I think I will just use flannel to be safe.
Thanks for the printing hint Karen....

Flannel, eh?
I'll have to get some. Thanks for that info Barb. Stupid me was thinking of Insulbright, but the microwave would definitely set it on fire!
We had some thunderstorms last night but escaped the worst. Thank God.
A tornado hit the Carolina coast, and so far only 3 injured. With a hurricane, we have ample warnings, but tornados are rare cases here.
Hope all my sistahs won't face a severe winter.
Nothing much to report here, trying to finish an afghan, and having ADD, I started a shawl!!
More like finding something to do with my hands while watching football!! A very easy shawl that doesn't engage the brains is perfect.. and I had found some more skeins of yarn! Thought that I've given them all away!
Never learn to finish one project at a time, got to have more than 3 lying around
There's this new commercial targeted at grandmas. A "Stuffie" I think? Where kids are thanking their grannies for oversized stuffed animals with pockets?
That's a shameless ad, now most kids will be expecting their grannies to be getting that for them!
Christmas is no longer a simple holiday.. checkbooks are required!
I went to JoAnn's today and sure enough the cotton Warm & Natural has 12.5% Polypropylene and 87.5%cotton. HOWEVER they also have what they call Wrap & Zap It is 100%cotton. 1 yard 45" wide was $7.99 but I had a 40% off coupon so was a good price. It is made for in the microwave so would be perfect for the bowls.

Lucky you Karen!
I can't wait for Joann and Hobby Lobby to be opened next year, at the beach.
Kel says he's happy, for that means not having to drive for hours to get to one.
Happy Thanksgiving my American sisters.
Hope all goes according to plans for you all tomorrow. I know Karen will have tinfoils and extra paper plates ready with all that food her family will be serving.
As for me, off to Ryan's with MIL. Already messaged my favorite waitress to be expecting us!
Think I'll hit the carrot cake first!
Oh Yeah and 100% cotton thread too, I was surprised at how much isn't any more.
Jaye have a great day. A very happy Thanksgiving to all my dear sisters. Those who must travel, please be safe. We aren't on the road until Friday and supposed to be clear by then.
DD just called our count went up some more, she invited her hubby's sisters and they are coming....over 30 now. Will be fine I cleaned out the stores today.
I'm only a week late thanking you for the beautiful birthday wishes. Sorry, sorry, sorry -- sometimes I get so caught up in things I don't know whether to stop or go; it's been that kind of week. But I did have a good birthday, thank you so much.
Our weather has been moderately weird, until today. Today it has just been rock bottom cold and when you have not much covering old bones, then it's painful. Layers and layers of clothes help, but once cold, oh boy, it's so hard to warm up again.
Hope you all are warm and toasty and happy with your Thanksgiving plans. And if you are traveling, be careful and be safe. I know the east coast area is getting battered, especially up north. We've only had high winds and very low temps the past few days, so if I can find just one more layer I do believe I'll survive.
And Sunshine is very happy to cut her walks short as well. This is the first time she's had a warm house and a full tummy, I do believe she's loving it.
Thanks for all the links, I always try to stop by and read, even if I don't take time to say Hello, and I always check out your links.
Love and hugs to all of you -- oh, Kiz, beautiful baby!!
Happy Thanksgiving and Susan, same though belated to you!
Looks like a pretty day today we have about 8" of snow and the entire lake now has a coat of ice. Starting to cook for our dinner on Sat. On the road tomorrow and back Sun. evening. Out of touch until then as no internet access where daughter lives.
Happy birthday Audrey. Imagine hugs from all the sistahs.
