| Please pray for my DH and I - the city has sold the land our mobile home is on, and will move it to a new park, at our cost ($15,000 Canadian), but we'd decided we wanted our own property (so we wouldn't have it sold out from under us again!). However, we found that there's a glut on the market of reconditioned mobile homes (selling for $19,900! how cheap is that?!), and it doesn't look like our home will sell....... We have an angel in our midst who said she'd help with $5k, but unless the good Lord knows of a way we can raise the rest of the $25 (we need $20kmore) without selling our current home, we can't buy a house of our own. We own the mobile home, but pay rent on the property ($525/mo). Moving to the park the city has designated isn't an option as it takes us to the other end of the city from both our jobs and, more importantly, our Church. We've been taking over from the Elders all the tasks they are unable to do anymore, so moving away from this church is not an option for us. They need us here! There are so many others in our church that live in this park, too, so going to the church for help also isn't an option. We can get a mortgage (don't know how much for, though), but can't afford to have both our current home's property rent and a mortgage. The trailer has to be sold, for a reasonable price. We're at our wit's end....... Been trying to turn it over to the Lord, but I'm human and I sometimes slip....... Please pray for us. We just want a simple home with a garden, near the church (within driving distance, anyway).
