I have a lot of chores to do today. I am going to tackle getting my receipts entered into my program today (yes I know, It's about time!), I have to install MS Works on my computer AND balance Quicken and line up all the bills for the month. YUCK YUCK YUCK!!

Hope you all are having a better day! LOL I will feel better when it is all done though so I guess it is worth it.

Tata for now,

Sheri

I've been up too. Took Ed to work and kept the car...........

cloudy with on/off sun and muggy here. Mosquitoes are terrible. My Tree lilies are opening, took the camera out to take a picture and the battery low keeps turning it off on me............ So that has to wait till the battery is charged. I am not a happy camper today...............Have 6 mosquito bites and they itch like crazy..............

It rained all night here. Oh and FYI I was up @ 6:15 only just got here now.

I didn't do anything yesterday but watch movies and do my "paperwork" (computer entry mainly) for 8 hours!!! I got almost everything for the first 6 months done though. All receipts are entered, household utilities & my time outside of daycare operating hours are also entered. I still have to do additional mileage. (mainly DH's trips to the grocery)

Thought I'd have 3 kids today but Brook decided to stay w/grandpa and Broghen stayed w/ his soon to be step dad. That only leaves Erica. Since she is 6 y.o. I just told her to let me know what she wants to do when she wants to do it. Easy day for me!!

Hoping all are well today! (Cherie put a little rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover on those bites)

Be yourself, you can be no one else
Good morning. Itch, itch, Cece, we could scratch together. My bugs were the crawling kind who apparently climbed around on me while I weeded on hands and knees yesterday. I didn't feel them bite, and never saw anything but very small ants.

We didn't go anywhere or do anything special for the 4th, and have no plans for today. That's the way we like it, low key and quiet.

Our weather is still cooler than normal. 70 today, 76 tomorrow, then some 80's and back downward. No rain in the forecast (7 days) so good for all the folks who are putting up hay. They got a late start this year, cutting the first crop 2 weeks later than normal meaning everything after that happens later, and they may not get the later crops because they don't have time. Hay requires a certain amount of dry, warm weather to dry properly so it can be baled and not get moldy. The last crop always takes longer to cure because of cooler, damp weather.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

I'm cleaning the basement!! It's cool down there! I have a dehumidifier too.

Washing bedding (machine is in the basement) and I can duck outside and hang it....it's dry by the time you get to the end of the line!!

Think of all that free energy.....

(I am positive or what???)

Yes you are Dorothy and that's the way to be. Most of the time I have a hard time to think positive.

You will find something to do Anna if not your husband will LOL

Hi all, just checking in to see what you've been up to and to mark the thread. Cece's right the bugs are terrible. It was supposed to rain today so last night I spread some fertizer but no, muggy but no rain so I did water today (figuring it would start right up as soon as the sprinklers were off). No rain yet though so I'm glad I sprinkled. Otherwise it was a good day to work inside.

I managed to get a pic of the trailer that the fireworks racks were on for the show at the park on the 4th. I think most of them were on there, but there are some racks on the ground too. And they had some other ground ones, called "cakes". Really neat. This is the guy that my DS is helping this summer.

Good picture Anna. It is really an organized operation these days isn't it? Pretty impressive how they get it all set up and wired like that too. Did you go to the fireworks?

Of course we did. Really nice show too. In spite of the rain that came halfway through, but "the show must go on". Big Grin
