|Jeannie (hey...I typed it right this time...you won't believe how hard it is to stop my fingers from putting that extra 'n' in there How Automatic we become!) I am glad you are okay. The early reports were worst in your area.
Down here it was suppose to miss us, splitting with some going south and the rest more north but it came right through hard and heavy. In addition to hard pouring rain, amazing house shaking thunder (dawg is not happy when that happens). At least the winds were not too bad here, every time the winds get high, I have so many trees that it gets dangerous out there. Then after I end up picking up branches and more branches before I can even think about mowing. I have several ash trees in the yard and I don't care what the DNR says, the tops are dying and the ash borer IS here.
Mary, had the same thing happen with my truck, no wiring damage though, caught it in time. A couple of years ago I thought the A/C in my car was going bad because the fan would only work intermittently in one speed, the dealer thought it was a small sensor part or something. He called me later. They had to take the whole dash apart because there was a nest full of mouse babies blocking the fan. BTW...I don't think a pitchfork is the standard weapon against the 'lil problems.
Ric...really enjoying your pictures.
