| Now see, my husbands company if there is a layoff they make the guys take any paid days/vacations BEFORE any unemployment. "DH has never been in danger of any layoffs due to the fact he is one of the 4 original people in that building from 1973. This is the 3rd name this company had been under and they all did the same thing. First it was RTEm the Magnatek, and now for the past 25 years SPX Waukesha Electric. HIs clock number is 008.............He is an artifact there according to a couple of people I've met. He won't retire till they take his card away. Believe me when I say this. He won't. He's already told me if he retires he'll end up an alcoholic because he doesn't know life without work. Even with the projects we could be doing here, but then his excuse is he needs to keep working to finance all I want to do around here. IDK may be his right, maybe its just an excuse. As long as he's happy and doing what he wants to do............... the faster I go, the behinder I get |
