Well, I guess he's recovered. He occasionally mentions his MIL's antics to business clients over I hear. Not too sure about his family. Hope they've adjusted after all these yrs.

Sounds like it was a great time. I love the pictures.

Weddings should be fun. Our daughter had planned a big wedding and then 5 days before the wedding her fiance lost his job. She didn't want to get married and be sad, so they postponed. It broke my heart. Only daughter etc.

Well about a year later, they were married at a beautiful resort in Mexico. I was against it all the way. Just get married in the US. Well the wedding was incredible and fun. The photographer was an artist with his work. The pictures were fun and beautiful. They blew me away. It was the best. A few days later they came back to Mi and had their reception (that was paid for) it was stuffy and stoggy and more formal.

The photographer there (the original one) only wanted to take very formal poses. We still laugh at the photo of her kneeling beside me in a chair with her looking up at me. Not us at all!

Thanks for stopping by to read my story, Zany and Sharon!

firefly....I hope your SIL got an even better job. As for photographers, ours got quite a bit of mileage out of the pics he took at the wedding and reception. For a couple of years after the wedding, we'd run into people who'd been at a bridal show and seen the photos....

quilter...Appreciate your comments. We all need a little more laughter in our lives.....

I really like good photos. I take quite a few myself.

Yes, they both got better jobs in another state, but they love their jobs.

I think laughter is very important. I don't understand someone that isn't goofy once in a while.
