I have an iPad. I use Bluefire Reader on the iPad, along with Adobe Digital Editions on my Mac. I download books from the library. Well, actually several libraries.

My only complaint about the actual iPad for reading is that it is heavy. Also, given the price, I wonder how much of the iPads total life reading on it is using.

As far as Adobe DE or Bluefire, no complaints.

Now, as far as getting books from the library... I am not very happy with that. Very few books are available to check out without being on a waiting list. I am on the list for several books that have over 50 people ahead of me.

My Mac died last Friday. I have a new one ordered, it should be here next week. Sure enough I got an email - using the iPad - that my turn has finally come for South of Broad. I have two days to download it, or it goes on to the next person. I can't download directly to the iPad, so months and months of waiting down the
drain.

So, not being able to download from library sites to the iPad is a problem for me right now.
