|I wonder why they picked some of those.... and wonder why some of the authors picked some of them. To me, the classic would always be Dickens' "Tale of Two Cities" - #9. You have to love Tolstoy -#6.
But I never decide on a book based on it's first line, I hope authors don't drive themselves nuts over picking it. Do you?
In the end, only kindness matters.
