So simple; you take a flour tortilla; cut it square; cut out design; I have those little cutters to do it. Then you lay it over a round can, whatever you can find and bake it. Make some good garlic mashed potatoes to stand it in and you add stature to the plate! Voila!

I thought it was a little too big; I'll do mine smaller for good proportions.

I like your idea of smaller, that looks a bit too towering for my taste! But interesting concept.

I am doing Prime Rib Christmas Day so I picked up some tortillas to experiment with. I'll post a picture if it comes out halfway decent.

Just did them today. . . around a spice jar .. smaller. Dipped them in egg and then in sesame seeds. They came out good. Will be posting pcs of them at Yum.
