Dave: I've never seen a Macadamia nut tree and these photo's are great! The flowers are really pretty, are they fragrant? I love Macadamia's and the next time I make Banana Bread I'm going to experiment and use Macadamia's instead of the regular Walnuts.

Hi Lin!

The flowers are very fragrant.

When standing in a Mac-nut orchard at flowering time, the air is filled with their scent, and Monarch Butterflies are everywhere taking advantage of the pollen!

Mac-nuts are high in omega-3 oil and work well in baking. They'll be great in banana bread!
