Ixora chinensis, Chinese Ixora is a shrub from southern China and the Malay Peninsula. It has been cultivated since ancient times.

exactly how difficult is it to grow on Ixora inside with orchids? L.

Hi Lee,

I think Ixora's need full sun to do well and bloom a lot.

Hello Dave,
Please forgive my tardiness in getting back to you.
I live in zone 7 but have for many yrs. wanted an Ixora as a house plant. Might you suggest an appropriate one .
Since I grow orchids, too, in a S S/W window with a sheer curtain, would these growing arrangements be appropriate for an Ixora.
