Solanum torvum is a shrub from the Antilles in the Caribbean. It is now naturalized pantropically.

The shrub is used to graft Eggplant, Solanum melongena onto to make "Eggplant Trees", which last up to a couple years in the field as compared to non-grafted Eggplant.
