Hi, all!

Happy to report I found an Exotic Angel 8" basket of lacunosa at my local WM. Lovey dubby

Can't beat $11.97 + taxes... Hurray!

It seems they are getting EA baskets as a regular part of their plant order.

Lacunosa currently under quarantine, and looked a little stressed, but w/ some TLC I'm sure he'll make a full recovery.... Angel

Any other EAs there? Must have had a lacunosa explosion @ EA. I counted:
4 @ Empress WM
2 @ Kenaston WM
5 @ Regent WM

but no other EA type to be found ! Grumbling

I find hoyas now and then at my local Walmarts. But I won't buy a hoya if I already have one of the same at home. Last year they had compactas for $11.97, and I bought 2 - for other people. I've seen lacunosa there and wayettii, also lots of dischidias. I'll still always take a look when I'm in the store, just in case... Whistling

Its outside and I didn't even look, and assumed it is an EA.

Nope, a different name- "Elegant Accent Collection fromCosta Farms". Their website is CostaFarms.com - and "Find out more about our air-purifying plants at O2ForYou.org".

Hope they're Canadian ... I'm about to visit their websites.

They sure carry a lot of different plants! This appears to be their only hoya though.

EA has that "stylized" basket, with rope looking hangers. I've seen the ones from Costa, and got one for my MIL...

WM sometimes has gorgeous plants, considering its about the last place in the world you'd expect to find a helathy plant Hilarious! I got a Costa Farms plant and I think the label said Florida....

Hilarious! The Rona near me always has half baked and/or drowned plants that are very neglected. Rolling my eyes. Never seen a lipstick there.

This summer our Rona was row on row & had three or four types, including "Black Pagoda".
That's the one I went to get, but suddenly once I decided to get one, they had no more! Sticking tongue out

$11 for an eight inch basket

Tropicals in Canada

This is a place for Canadians to talk about growing tropical plants (including cactus and succulents, orchids, house plants... In short, all things that can not overwinter outdoors) A place to trade cuttings and seeds, and sell any extra plants
