Add some white then light yellow then regular yellow to the center of the flames. The hottest area in a flame like that is white, then where it is not as hot it goes into the colors. I think blue hot is the very hottest, but rarely can we see the blue.

It's a very good painting. Difficult, too.

I'll try to remember to get some photos to show you but I haven't had time to work on any of it this last week. Maybe this next week will be better.
