It is pretty easy, with that much I'd do it in an oven set at about 225°.
Cut the fat into small pieces - add enough to a large heavy roasting pan to at least cover the bottom. When the fat starts to melt, add more pieces until roaster is about half full.
This can also be done in a crock pot but since you have so much I'd go with a larger pan in the oven.

Pork fat burns easily so you have to watch it carefully.
You can strain the rendered fat & freeze it while still hot. I separate it into amounts I'll need for the bird cakes.
