Here's another site you all might want to check out. Ravelry has both knit and crochet. It also lets you inventory your yarn and search by brand or type of yarn. Must register but it's free. Some pattern are for sale but there's a good selection of free patterns too.

You can find free patterns at just about every yarn company's website I just haven't gotten around to posting those yet.
