Trish - that came out gorgeous!!!! I love the colors. I'm just going to need to find a book like yours and have some yarn on hand. It would be more of a fall/winter thing for me. I have a hard time dealing with yarn in the summer. What weight yarn did you use for this???

Barb this was done mostly in Vanna's Choice....medium weight acrylic. So far it isn't too bad...our temp at four this afternoon was fifty six degrees. The weatherman is referring to it as the month of Juneuary Rolling on the floor laughing I just started a second one so we will see how it goes...they don't have to be done until Christmas Whistling

The booklets are by Leisure Arts from the Eighties and Nineties, you can probably find them on line.....but there are lots of "Squares Patterns" around now. The TV show Knit and Crochet Now has a "square of the week" and they are all available on their site....you can do a crochet one, a knit one or combine the squares to make an afghan.

That sounds like fun....I like to do knit/crochet in the evening to keep my hands active. I save the hand sewing of things like quilt bindings for the daytime when my eyelids aren't finghting with my desire for them to close!!!! I like the feel of Vanna's Choice - it is really soft to the touch for that weight...

Trisha those are beautiful!! I haven't crocheted anything since my grandson arrived except for a couple of beanies for him. I really like the green button on!! The skulls are also very well done! I've never tried to make anything like that within my crochet. Awesome!! Is the owl a cuddle toy?

Yes. The owl was one of several Lovies I made for our Church Bazarr. The Skull scarf was for my son in law
Laura and I fell in love with the button cowls. I sold a lot of those before Christmas.

Lovely Trish
I’ve not been much of anything with yarn for about a year. Lot of stress in one year just caught up with me and I sorta shut down on crafting and became a bookworm instead.
