I got a Sugar and Cream Pattern booklet....I am going to make the baskets on the cover (in the picture) and then make dishcloths, potholders, scrubbies etc. to go in them. I think it would be great to keep an assortment of these made up for gifts.

that would be cute in a baby's room too.
My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.

I love those baskets! They can't be too difficult to make without a specific pattern. I am going to make a sleeve for my laptop - maybe shaped like a big envelope with some sort of a clasp. Hmmmm.

If you go on the Lily site and enter Crocheted Baskets in the pattern search it will bring up the free pattern.

I have got a book comimg that is for small baskets. Looked really cute. I have got so many different patterns but they are all in the storage unit and it is to cold and snowy to get over there and drag everything out to get to them and here I set wishing I had them now since I have gotten back in to the crocheting.

I picked up a skein of super thick yarn today to make a basket from one of the free patterns I got at Michael's....but I need to finish this one first....too many patterns too little time (and money)...

I have been trying to crochet and watch the Olimpics too but found I couldn't do both at once. Found mistakes in the crochet, *Blush*

I can not believe the difference between stores....a few days ago I picked up a ball of sugar n cream at JoAnn's to finish a project....$2.79. Today I was out at Michael's to get more for another project...bigger selection and $1.79 each! Guess I know where I will be getting my Cotton. Confused

Ouch! I am discovering that when you do a lot of crocheting with cotton and and E hook that you fingers get really tired...... Sad

You can get the Peaches and Cream and the Sugar and Cream at Walmart for 1.47 or at least that is what it is here. Don't have a large variety of it though, but still for the price it is better than none.
