I took a picture that I liked from our woods. Then I super imposed the words "Hand Made at Pine Ridge" (which is the name of our woods), used a program to put several on one piece of paper, put cardstock into the printer and wah lah! Tags.
Just seems to finish off an item and make it look professional.
I will take a picture.
Ack, the picture is blurry, but you get the idea.

this is a skinny belt i made for my sister about 2 years ago. she loved it. it was a beginner project, but i loved using up some of my scrap yarn :)
knitting is like a drug addiction. i get a rush buying the yarn, have to sneak those purchases into the house, and lose myself in my rows for hours on end! i love the high i get from finishing my projects!
this is the first pair of booties i made. i made them for my son while he was still "cookin" but ended up giving them to one of the nurses in the maternity ward as a thank you for making my stay so comfortable. she was about 7 months along and moved me to three different rooms. she had admired them and asked where i had bought them. that made me feel so good i gifted them to her then i made another pair for my son when we got home. again from scrap yarn. it was wonderful :)

thanks i agree, it takes more thought to make a gift specificly for someone than to just buy one. it is a tradition in my family that we exchange homemade gifts every christmas. we draw names every year and it is always so nice to see what is made just for you and to see how someone reacts to what you made for them. there is always someone who cries but they are happy tears.
