Recipe Title: Chicken and Rice SOUPREME

I "think" this recipe originated on a Campbells Soup can.I remember eating it as a child and it is one of my favorite winter comfort foods.

Note from the Diva
I use skinless breasts and leg/thighs instead of whole chickens

List of Ingredients
1 can each:
Cream of Mushroom soup
Cream of Chicken soup
Cheddar Cheese Soup
2 cups water
1 large onion (finely chopped)
1 cup uncooked rice
2 chickens, cut into serving pieces

Preparation
Mix Soups, Water, Onion, and rice together.
Pour into a 9 X 13 greased baking pan.
Arrange the Chicken pieces on top of the rice mixture

Cooking Time & Temperature
Bake, uncovered, for 2 hours at 350 degrees

Number of Servings: 6-8

I usually use a larger roasting pan and and double the rice, water and cheddar soup so there is more yummy rice to serve more people. Also, chickens must be bigger now because 2 whole birds is too much for a 9 X 13 casserole. I also use skinless chicken breasts and thighs instead of the whole chicken.

Even my Meat and Taters spouse loves this dish!
